New Chapter forming of the American Wine Society. The Alle-Kiski chapter of the American Wine Society will have its inaugural meeting on Thursday, September 22nd at 7pm. The American Wine Society is a national organization of wine appreciators, from novice drinkers to those in the aspects of the wine industry, amateur and professional winemakers and just plain folk who love wine or want to learn more about it. The American Wine Society is the largest and oldest consumer-based wine education organization in North America. Now a new chapter will be formed at the River Forest County Club at 130 Club House Drive, PO Box 130, Freeport, PA 16229 All are invited to find out more about this organization and how its motto of "Promoting appreciation of Wine Through Education" has helped wine lovers learn more about this delightful beverage.
