Port and Cheese Tasting @ Andrew's Cheese Shop

Port and Cheese Tasting at Andrew’s Cheese Shop

Join us for our annual cheese and port tasting at Andrew’s Cheese Shop on Montana Ave in Santa Monica. It is a great way to spend a winter evening - with a glass of port, some cheese and chocolate. We will taste several types, ages, and styles of port, so that you will find out about the different types of port and what pairings are best.

Andrew Steiner, who earned a name for himself as the Maître Fromager at Patina several years ago, is the owner of this premier cheese shop. He will be our host offering interesting information and entertaining stories about the cheese that we are tasting. Gayot Guide says this is “probably the best gourmet cheese store on the Westside.”

Date: Thursday, February 20

Time: 7:30 PM

Cost: $40 for the cheese tasting

One of the most informative and fun tastings I have attended. We covered the full gamut of port and learned about the styles of each. Thanks Marc Johnson. Something to enjoy in each wine and their differences made the evening that much more fun. John Talbert did a great job of staging the wines in the perfect order.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
