We would like to invite you to join AWSLA for our wine dinner at Akbar Indian restaurant on Thursday, November 15 at 7 pm.

Each person should bring a bottle of wine over $25 that you think will pair with Indian food. At the end of the meal, we will take a vote and the person who brings the bottle that pairs best, will win a prize.
If you are not sure of what to bring, we would recommend the following varietals:
White: Champagne, Viognier, White Rhone Blend, Riesling, Gewurztraminer
Red: Pinot Noir, Zinfandel, Syrah/Shiraz, Malbec, Rioja
Each person should bring two wine glasses. If you like to drink Champagne in a flute, then I would bring one.
Chef Avinash will be preparing a wine-friendly menu that is not spicy hot, but still has lots of flavor. We are having a very broad wine theme, so we can experiment with pairings, but we are asking everyone to bring a premium wine.
Cost: $55 all inclusive for dinner. There is a $5 discount for members of the AWS national organization.
There are two menu options: meat/fish or vegan. If you would like the vegan menu, please specify that in your RSVP. The complete menu is at the bottom of this email.
