A lot of good updates about AU and upcoming events. Exciting information about our plans for growth. VP Richard Miller gave a great talk about rules for mixing politics and religion.

What, exactly, does General Meeting entail? Are we just sitting around, "shooting the shit", so to speak? Or is it geared more toward organizers of the event and upcoming meetup plans?

It just means a membership meeting as opposed to a board or committee meeting. We usually have speaker and occasionally a 'working meeting' to discuss planning, legislative strategies, etc. But those are the exception. Our speakers are generally very good & cover church/state issues. The exact topic is usually sent out a couple of weeks prior with the meeting reminder. Hope that helps.
