Our mission is to keep the Hispanic culture and Spanish language alive within our children by meeting up for hispanic-themed events and playdates conducted in Spanish. Our written communications on the meetup pages are in English, but our meetups are held in Spanish.

This meetup is a place to meet bilingual, and bicultural (Spanish/English speaking/Hispanic-American, or Hispanic living in America) like minded parents. All levels of Spanish, both parents and children, are welcome. The main purpose is to encourage parents to practice their Spanish alongside their children(s). It is our goal to set up playdates and get togethers during the day. We'll also have some weekend meetups so the entire family can participate. Of course we can't forget to take some time off for ourselves -so we'll also plan Moms' Night Out at least once a month, but hopefully more.

Amiguitos is about being a part of a community that supports one another. Raising a bilingual child has its challenges. We encourage you to use our message boards to talk to one another about whatever comes to mind! In this group you will find support, encouragement, and ideas for raising bilingual children.
