Bring your own bike for a relaxed bike tour in Amsterdam.
This bike tour will take you to Amsterdam West. First you'll feel like you are at the Dutch countryside when we pass the charming bridges and canal house at quiet and hidden gem of the Western Islands (Westelijke Eilanden).
Next, we ride through the Spaarndammer neighbourhood. This area is Amsterdam's last known workers neighbourhood. Especially the famous 'Amsterdam School' architecture meant to 'lift' the brown collar worker is impressive.
Next stop is the Westergasfabriek, the old gas plant, now a cultural hotspot.
After, we ride through the immigrant neighbourhood of Bos en Lommer also known as one of the Westelijke Tuinsteden. From there we ride along the beautiful Sloterplas, a large recreational lake before we head back into the city.
The tour takes 3 hours, but it won't feel like 3 hours. We will make regular stops to look at the surroundings and you take pictures if you want to.
Also a great way to meet new people in fun and relaxed way.
We end up at a bar for drinks.
Remember: you will need to bring your own bike for this tour.
