Rokjesdagloop - 5 or 10 km walk or run for Ladies

Hi ladies,

Here's a fun 5 or 10 km run or walk for women.  It would be nice for a group of us to go together. There is also 1 km race for kids. You can run or walk it (running is not required) and you have plenty of time to prepare as it's in April.

More details here: http://www.rokjesdagloop.nl/

CAFE RESTAURANT POLDER

Science Park 205
1098 XH Amsterdam

(near bus station Science Park Amsterdam, bus 40)

The 5 and 10K start at 15:00. We can meet at 14:15 and then walk to the start together to warm up before the event. Look for me and Lorna. I'm tall with dark hair and 'll likely be wearing a "House of Running" jacket. Lorna is much smaller than me with short red hair. That should be easy enough to find us. :-)

There should be a place to check your coats. If you can't find it, come find us first and we can point you in the right direction.

Hi ladies, i was running my typical saturday morning run over week ago and while crossing the street and first step from pavement to the road I stepped somehow wrong (not paying enough attention) and my ankle really twisted bad and i fell over it. Now still one and half weeks later i'm suffering from swollen ankle although walking is already back to normal. I haven't even tried running yet I think I need to unfortunately pass on Sunday if there's no miracle healing. Anyways, I registered already so if there's anyones friend running for 10K and haven't registered , i don't mind someone using that spot (I'm not sure if that's possible but it's an option).

Bad news, Noora. I hope you recover quickly. It good be good to have it seen by a medical specialist to help with proper & quick recovery...

Bidisha, you can still join us. A run/walk is also fine. If you want to start running a little, you can try the Couch to 5K app, it can help to start in an easy way.
