I love going to markets to browse and search for unique and eclectic items. This one happens to be on a Sunday, which is even better! There are over 500 stalls, so we can also take a break and grab a bite to eat.
WE WILL MEET AT THE NDSM FERRY PLATFORM BEHIND CENTRAL STATION. The first ferry of the day departs at 9:15am. The next ferry does not depart until 9:45am. It is also possible to go by bus.

IJ-Hallen Flea Market
Held twice a month in a warehouse on the north side of the River IJ, the best part of the IJ-Hallen Flea Market is the ride to get there!
A free ferry from Central Station takes you across the river in about 10 minutes, where the flea market is a five-minute walk from the dock. Inside you’ll find typical flea market fare from 500 vendors, including old books, vintage clothes and antiques. It might be the place where you find a one-of-a-kind souvenir for just a little money, plus you have a great story on how you got there!

Getting there:
Take the free ferry from Centraal Station – Behind Centraal Station are four free ferry docks leading across the river. To get to IJ-Hallen, take the ferry toward ferry back towards 906 NDSM shipyard. The ferry stops a few minute’s walk from the market.

I cant see where you buy the 4euro tickets -looks to me that you can only psy/book if you're a seller. Am i being really silly? If you can buy tickets at the entrance, then i'm happy!

Last time I was there I also bought the ticket at the entrance, it was a long time ago though.

The ferry departs at 9:15, so we will meet at the NDSM ferry platform behind Central Station before then. Meeting around 9ish will allow enough time in case anyone is lost, unforseen delays, etc. From my research, it appears that the ferry ride is approximately 10 minutes, so we can expect to arrive at the IJ-hallen by 9:30am. I'm assuming that you pay to enter at the door since I've seen nothing to suggest otherwise.

Sounds like fun, though tis a bit early to be able to say for sure I will be able to attend. If I do, I'll meet you all at the NDSM-side of the ferry, as I live on this side of the IJ River heh. :)
