All prospected Amtgarders are encouraged to come and join us out here in Ottawa, Canada.
Ever been interested in Medieval/fantasy related stuff then you will fit it rather well out here with the rest of us. Amtgard is a lot of fun and allows you to get outside and enjoy yourself with other people that aren't exactly in the norm. But that's what makes it worth your time. Amtgard weapons are safe, foam-padded replicas of the real things.
If you have been looking for something that is fun and rather interactive then you should most definitely come out and beat on some people with a foam weapon of your liking.
Defend your honor by defeating your friends and strangers alike in a fun fantasy medieval setting....
But it is more than just fighting!
Whether its going to events, artwork, swordplay, archery, singing, socializing
in-character role-play, craftwork, period dancing or even creating quests, there
is something in Amtgard for anyone and everyone.

We shall get together at Hogsback park as usual and beat each other down til we get bored and leave. If anyone has a small quest that they would like to try out.
