Overview: The main objective of this group is to implement an innovate social project in LA county. We will plan to do so collectively, collaboratively, and creatively. 5-10 years of prior work experience and several post graduate degrees are not required. However, if by some chance you are in possession of professional experience or several credentials, you are most welcome to participate.

The Methodology: In our first gatherings, we will work together to identify 10 initial-and thematically diverse-ideas for the social project. After these 10 are selected, we will proceed to identify the 3-5 strongest ideas. Working groups will be assigned to hammer out the details of each idea, which will be introduced to the group at large at a later date as a formal project proposal. We anticipate a robust question, answer, and debate period to select the most promising proposal. This proposal, in effect, will be the project that shall be posted on the web for funding. And then the real fun begins.

Now what?: An organizing committee will be established to structure our first encounter and to make all necessary improvements to the general idea of the ICPP. If interested please direct yourself to the potential member questions.  :)

Justifications: Oftentimes people-young people especially- are full of creative and striking ideas to better their lives and the lives of others. However, these ideas-no matter how innovative-sometimes remain confined in the realm of abstraction, and over time, may even evaporate and unfortunately disappear. We can only speculate why. However, in the company of other like-minded individuals, we believe that those who indeed possess ideas will find the confidence, ambition, and perseverance required to work towards their implementation.
