Hi folks! There's still several spots open for our workshop this Sunday. Some people expressed interest in bringing their own planter to hack, which I received word that should be A-OK! The only thing is we'll need to create a "false bottom" out of something roughly the same shape/diameter. I'm still going to have 5gal buckets on hand in case it doesn't work. Also, If I can get a head count, participants will receive their own little plants to take home with them as well!

Kelly & Erik will also be giving a talk beforehand about their homesteading adventures in the city. If you're not familiar with their books, they've done some pretty amazing things from worm composting to guerilla gardening. New York Times touted one of their books as the "bible" of urban homesteading.

If any of you have trouble finding Crash Space, keep in mind there's no official sign. It's a little stone building with blue doors on the south side of Venice, between an optometrist's office and a dentist's office at 10526 Venice Boulevard, in Culver City.

So sign up at http://www.meetup.com... and if you have any questions feel free to contact me at analogliving@crashspace.org. Hope to see you there!
