Analyze Beer - A Boulder Startup Week Data Challenge

Join Analyze Boulder at Avery Brewing Company for the only data-focused Boulder Startup Week event, AnalyzeBeer!

AB is a data flash-mob-meets-science-fair analysis challenge.  We're giving all willing data geeks a suds-related data set to crunch and visualize.  Everyone is welcome to see the results presented Ignite-style at noon on May 15.

To participate in the challenge, form a team by May 8, and email us.  Visualizations are due by midnight on May 14.  See the discussion board thread for more details.

This event is co-sponsored by Avery Brewing Company and RosenthalAnalysis.

We encourage using public transportation! Take the JUMP from 14th & Walnut in Boulder towards Lafayette at 11:22 or 11:37, and get off after 55th near the Flatirons Golf Course - Avery's in the industrial park across Arapahoe.

I'm not in Boulder, but I'm interested.
    - Is there any more info on this suds-related data set?
    - Will non-attendees will get a chance to take a look at it?
    - Is Avery interested in submissions that are not visualizations?

Hi Aman! We'll be posting some of the results after the event for non-attendees. I'll email you with more details on the data shortly.

I'm not a big fan of public transportation (cost v benefit problems), but love the fact that this is finally a venue outside the killing zone for the Boulder parking Gestapo. I would also love an opportunity to analyze beer as I tend to analyze (or often over-analyze) everything. And because of that, I am inadvertably drawn to apparently under-analyzed important things like economies and possibly productivity paradigms and maybe parsing out the interdependent functions of open and open sourced econometric (and sociometric) models (for various premises) to figure out why we can't better quality of life to more folks and not fight as much. Always looking to meet potential co-conspirators -- especially quant type co-conspirators -- to at least have an interesting, stimulating conversation and maybe do something productive. Beer often helps that process, or at least makes it more fun.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
