So far just breathing techniques with a focus on mentally cleansing myself of all thoughts and ill being.

During grad school, the only way that I was able to cleanse my brain and allow my body to relax was through meditation. Recently, I have found that mornings after meditating, I am energetic and ready to go after the day.

Hello, John, and welcome to Ananda Cincinnati's Meetup group. Meditation results are cumulative, and it sounds like you already have a good foundation! The next step is going deeper inward and finding a connection with the Divine, as this is where the truest, deepest peace resides. We hope to meet you in person some Sunday and share with you what we know about the practice of meditation.
