New! Meditation & Wisdom Teachings of The Bhagavad Gita

"Instead of saying 'why me?" think of every trial as a pickax with which to dig into the soil of your consiousness and release the fountain of spiritual strength that lies within." -Paramhansa Yogananda

Yoga teaches that each person has access to an unlimited reservoir of healing energy of the universe they can tap into within themselves. Combined with willingness, one can utilize that flow to transform their perceptions of life's "stumbling blocks" into "stepping stones" for expansion and growth.

In this meeting we will utilize the time honored practice of meditation to open to solutions we may not have even considered. Using scientifically proven techniques of the great yoga master Paramhansa Yogananda, we will explore how an attitude of willingness transforms one's inner growth with "the subtle relationship between will and energy."

All spiritual affiliations or none are welcome and no meditation experience is required!

This meetup is part of a series of ongoing weekly meditation group meetings at this location.

We are a non-profit group but donations are always welcome! (suggested donation of 5-10 dollars but nobody turned away for lack of funds)

Although our evening will be mostly experiential practice, we'll also take some time explore and discuss the wisdom teaching of the great yogic text The Bhagavad Gita. We are in a gazebo outdoors in the back patio/yard, so bring a jacket to keep warm at night just in case! :-)
