Can we share of our heart with others without "losing" ourselves? Yoga, perhaps the greatest gift of ancient India, teaches that there is a way to do just that: while increasing inner freedom, lightness, and calm.
This week we will explore ways that we can expand our hearts and minds to include other people's realities- while still maintaining our own integrity. This powerful practice of yogic meditation can allow us to "plug into the source" of innate joy in the center of our being- which we can share with those around us. Making space for others in our hearts is a vast, challenging, and rewarding subject. Yet, yoga allows us patiently and compassionately move from the loneliness of separation to sharing a central connectedness which is one of the clearest paths to true lasting happiness.
More than mere techniques, yogic lifestyle is a holistic way to find harmony in spirit, relationships, body, mind, and vocation. Based on the teachings of Paramhansa Yogananda, we will learn how to meet life's challenges with a greater ability to relax, laugh, and even love.
