Ancient yogic teachings of India say that the "state of yoga" brings one face to face with one's deepest reality: the Self-illumined spirit- and that everything else is fleeting. Yogis found that viveka "discernment" of practicing neti neti- "not this, not that" with meditation is needed to get beyond the layers of the five senses to deep to one's soul calling- not just the endless toying of ideas of one's mind.
This week, we will focus on how meditation can help us choose wisely in our lives- to feel calm and centered, regardless of outer circumstances. You also don't have to have prior meditation experience!
All spiritual affiliations of none are welcome and no experience is required! This meetup is part of a series of ongoing weekly meditation group meetings at this location.
