Meditation & Gratitude

Santosha, feeling the awakened "inner smile" of contentment in the midst of all activities, is called by the ancient Indian text the Mahabharata"the highest heaven." Meditation practice allows one to consistently experience ease of mind and even radiant awareness of the "eternal now." In this meeting, we will explore how yogic meditation combined with an "attitude of gratitude" can open
the door to the joy of inner contentment. In this way, we can learn, grow, and thrive through the rhythms and changes in our lives. Using the scientifically proven techniques of the great yoga master Paramhansa Yogananda, we will practice methods that lead to a deep sense of well being. Subsequently, during the holidays, we can give and receive from our hearts more freely, and remember "the reason for the season."smile

All spiritual affiliations of non are welcome! No experience is required!

This meetup is part of a series of ongoing weekly meditation group meetings at this location.

We are a non-profit group but donations are always welcome! (suggested donation of 5-10 dollars but nobody turned away for lack of funds)

If you would like to volunteer in any way, i.e: bringing healthy snacks, help set of clean up, that would be wonderful! Please contact Paul any time.

I feel so happy and, yes, grateful, about the wonderful souls and powerful group energy of our meditation meetings and tonight was no exception- one of my personal favorites to date! :-)
