Meditation and Forgiveness

Letting go of bitter feelings and painful memories allows us to live with expanded inner peace in the "eternal now."

Meditation practice calms the mind-body, allowing one's heart to open to the true source of power: the higher Self which is free of the conditional restrictions of outside people, places, and things. This meeting is designed to help those interested in exploring the ancient yogic path to freedom- the way beyond the "hamster wheels" of mental burdens and emotional pain.

With support and practice, meditation can help one to "loosen the hold" of the turbulent waves of feelings and begin to experience a deeper inner "ocean" of stillness that may be previously 

unimaginable. With this increased access to our

intuition and a greater sense of well-being, challenges previously perceived as "stumbling blocks" can become "stepping stones" and opportunities to forgive, grow, and even thrive beyond the weight of past hurts.

Designed with wisdom and practicality, these techniques of the great yoga master Paramhansa Yogananda are easy to learn, powerful, and can bring peace to your inner and outer

This meetup is part of a series of ongoing weekly meditation group meetings at this location.

We are a non-profit group but donations are always welcome! (suggested donation of 5-10 dollars but nobody turned away for lack of funds)

    A regular meditation practice can allow us to enjoy the indescribable freedom of releasing the "thorns" of suffering of past hurts- usually perceived to be caused by others, life's changes, or perhaps our own previous life choices. This is one very practical reason that I keep meditating: it's a form of inner hygiene that helps cleanse my "doors of perception" so that I can feel lighter and brighter regardless of what's going on around me.
