Meditation and Humility

"I will reason, I will will, I will act, but guide Thou my reason my reason, will and activity to the right course in everything." -Paramhansa Yogananda

Want to feel a way out from the residual burdens past hurts and instead lighter, brighter and freer at the core of your being? Yoga teaches that one can gradually transcend the bondage of negative past karma and ultimately abide in the "true nature," the liberated soul and spirit. The great yoga master Yogananda emphasized constantly the importance of a regular meditation practice to keep "attuning oneself deeply with the all-loving Inner Silence."

This week, we will explore meditation as a way to experience the "freedom of Spirit" at the center of our being- beyond "space and time." Using Yogananda's powerful and scientifically proven techniques, you will learn ways to expand peace within your inner and outer world. smile

All spiritual affiliations of none are welcome and no experience is required!

This meetup is part of a series of ongoing weekly meditation group meetings at this location.

We are a non-profit group but donations are always welcome! (suggested donation of 5-10 dollars but nobody turned away for lack of funds)

If you would like to volunteer in any way, i.e: bringing snacks, help set of clean up, that would be wonderful!

Thank you so much Paul and to everyone! It was so wonderful to meditate in such a great group. I had a hard week and was so frazzled that evening, but the meditation helped! I also loved the topic of "humility," because as one member said, it's something that's ignored in our society.

Another joyous evening exponentially enhanced by Narayan's beautiful and heart-felt chanting! Speaking for myself, the topic of "humility" is also a good reminder. :-)

Growing group of regulars plus new seekers enjoyed a practical talk with some time for physical movements designed to prepare the body for a deep meditation. The meditation time is split between guided and silent. Very chill, helpful community, always welcoming and positive.
