Meditation & Sharing

“The happiness of one's own heart alone cannot satisfy the soul; one must try to include, as necessary to one's own happiness, the happiness of others.”- Paramhansa Yogananda

This week we will explore ways that we can expand our hearts and minds to include other people realities- while still maintaining our own inner center and truth. The regular practice of meditation can allow us to "plug into the source" of innate joy in the center of our being- which in turn, we can share with those around us with "no strings attached."  Making space for others in our hearts beyond our comfort zone is both challenging and rewarding. Yet, yogic lifestyle allows one to move from the loneliness of separation to expansive connectedness- for unconditional sharing is one of the clearest paths to true lasting happiness.

All spiritual affiliations or none are welcome and no experience is required!

This meetup is part of a series of ongoing weekly meditation group meetings at this location.

We are a non-profit group but donations are always welcome! (suggested donation of 5-10 dollars but nobody turned away for lack of funds)

If you would like to volunteer in any way, i.e: bringing snacks, help set of clean up, that would be wonderful! Please contact Paul any time.

Every time this group meets, it is a unique experience, largely because the leader allows for the energy of the individuals to create something special. We had a deep, longer meditation than usual and a shorter discussion. That suited this particular gathering of meditators well.

We have a strong core group and the meditation felt very sweet and powerful because of it. So grateful to be a part of this!
