Meditation & the Joy of Working

"Work of any kind, if done in the right spirit, gives you victory over yourself."

 -Paramhansa Yogananda

Yoga teaches that transforming our attitude towards doing "work" to a spirit of service is an essential and a universal way to feel happiness, freedom, and joy in every compartment in our lives. This shift in focus combined with regular meditation practice is a transformative combination for spiritual growth that has stood the test of time.

In this meeting, we'll explore how a positive shift in attitude, and lifestyle choices, including meditation practice, can lead to a growing sense of freedom and balance in achieving and spiritual goals.smile

All spiritual affiliations or none are welcome and no experience is required!

This meetup is part of a series of ongoing weekly meditation group meetings at this location.

It's not just what we do, it's the awareness we do it with!

Very thoughtful sharing and insights from everybody on the topic of "work" and we were able to go even deeper than usual into the meditation- I didn't want it to end!

Interesting thoughts on the spiritual aspect of something we usually only see as material. The joy of this group is that we go into our meditation with a fresh way of thinking on a topic. I believe it helps us absorb information and philosophy better.
