The powerful practice of yogic meditation can allow one to "plug into the source" of innate joy at the center of his/her being- which we can in turn be shared with others. Yoga allows us patiently and compassionately move from the loneliness of separation to sharing a central connectedness which is one of the clearest paths to true lasting happiness. More than mere techniques, yogic lifestyle is a holistic way to find harmony in spirit, relationships, body, mind, and vocation. Based on the teachings of Paramhansa Yogananda, we will learn how to meet life's challenges with a greater ability to relax, laugh, and feel compassion for ourselves and others.
All spiritual affiliations or none are welcome and no experience is required! This meetup is part of a series of ongoing weekly meditation group meetings at this location. We are a non-profit group but donations are always welcome! (suggested donation of 5-10 dollars but nobody turned away for lack of funds)
