Special Dewali Wed "Festival of Lights" Celebration!

This is wondrously colorful Dewali week in India and are going to do our own little celebration with diyas, candles, chants, and sweets this week in our 7:30pm Wednesday night meditation satsang- it's sure to be a fun night and we'd love to have you there.  If you feel to, bring a candle (in some kind of container or holder!). Otherwise, just come!

While popularly known as the "festival of lights", the most significant spiritual meaning of Dewali is "the awareness of the inner light". The celebration of Dewali refers to the yogic light of higher knowledge dispelling all ignorance. In other words, it's a celebration of the return of inner "joy" already within each of us that's just waiting to come out! Our group meditations have also been getting deeper and deeper and this will bring a wonderful spotlight of hope in our practice.

Hope to see you this Wed or sometime soon!
