Living City's Vegetable Fermentation Workshop--Crock included!

Want to make your own sauerkraut, and other delicious and nutritious vegetable ferments? Curious to learn more about the health benefits of fermented veggies?

This workshop includes:
- hands-on practice
- fermented foods from a naturopathic and Chinese medical perspective
- grounding in history
- novel recipes and tasty samples
- resources for free and low-cost equipment

Take home a crock full of sauerkraut! Crocks and ingredients provided.

When: 6-8:30 pm Thursday July 25

Location: The Side Yard Farm 5940 NE 45th, Portland Or 97218 Frequent service on Trimet #75, easily accessible by bike. Off-street bike parking available.

Instructors: Katie Sharrow Nichols, and Dr. Amalia Oster

Cost: $65
Scholarships for SNAP recipients. Call to discuss.
