Meet four Paleo nutrition powerhouses for an informative talk and book signings:
Michelle Tam of the Nom Nom Paleo blog and Nom Nom Paleo: Food for Humans book. Michelle's book, released this month, contains more than 100 foolproof Paleo recipes and over 900 step-by-step photographs and cartoons.
(Note: Michelle Tam will also be doing a book signing and Q&A at CrossFit Oregon City on Wednesday, January 15 from 6pm to 8pm. Her dinner event at Departure on January 16 is already sold out.)
Diane Sanfilippo of the Balanced Bites blog and podcast, the New York Times bestselling Practical Paleo and recently released 21 Day Sugar Detox books.
Hayley & Bill Staley of the Food Lovers Kitchen website and Make It Paleo, Gather, and The 30 Day Guide to Paleo Cooking books.
Update 1/10/14: Barnes and Noble is expecting several hundred attendees for this event, so they are renting an empty retail space between Sur La Table and Saks Fifth Avenue in the mall. I just updated the Meetup address to reflect this. Diane San Filippo is “sold out” of tickets on her eventbrite site for this event, but Paige, the Barnes and Noble event coordinator assured me that this was only to give them a ballpark count and that no tickets will be checked at the door. It is first come first serve so I highly recommend arriving as early as possible. The venue seats 300 plus some room for people to stand. 400 people RSVP’d on Diane’s site and that doesn’t even include others who only know of the event through the Barnes and Noble site. Doors open at 6:00pm.
