Not running/hiking related but this is my shameless plug for the Covenant House Candlelight Vigil for Homeless Youth. It will be a 45 minute vigil with an optional open house following. More information on ourhouseisfull.org. If you want more information feel free to message me

Sorry for the lack of details. I suggested this but it was a crazy week and hadn't been back online since before the event. I was also working the event so was quite busy. Hope some of you made it out despite my poor planning efforts.

Btw it is extremely foggy downtown as of 415. I cant see buildings a block away; still driveable but figure in extra time.

My daughter and I are going tonight. I'm not sure where the best place to meet up is. Hoping to make it there by 6! We may be a few minutes late depending on traffic.

There is a feature on meetup.com such that any member of a group can "suggest" a meetup (see the "suggestion" tab on the main group page). If two other members RSVP on the suggestion then it automatically gets listed as an event whether there is a host or not. In this case Holly, since she works at Covenant House and suggested it is our host ;-)

I guess we will look for Holly there tonite as our meetup point. ;-)

This is the great mystery...who is hosting this?!? It says no one is, and Holly was the first person in the group, and she doesn't even have the ability to create an event!

Hi, is there a specific place you are meeting. How will I know where to find the group?

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
