Wednesday Weekly Wander

Last Wednesday it was still light out when we started! The Big Dark is waning!

There is beautiful snow on the APU trails. We will get to them via Goose Lake, meeting at the parking lot there. It will be light when we start, and will likely be enough ambient light the entire ski. But bringing a headlamp is still not a bad idea. Plan on at least an hour.

This is a gently rolling terrain with ups and downs, not for beginners. You need to know how to ski.

This is a midtown location; should be handy for everyone.

Dogs? - No, these are groomed ski trails.

Wednesday weekly wanders repeat weekly; season and weather determine the activity and place, which will be posted early in the week.  If you have any suggestions or requests, feel free to email Jo, Julia or Vern.

And remember, all who wander are not lost.... at least most of the time.

Another fine ski! No one was deterred by the lack of lights; we wore our own. The APU network has some fine, and under appreciated, trails.

Probably not going to make it. I likely won't be done with work until 6:15, which isn't going to give me time to get ready and drive across town

It will be dark when we finish, and the moon doesn't rise until after 9 PM, so I highly recommend bringing a headlamp.
