Flattop, Peak2, how far can we go in 4 hours?

Plan to head up Flattop and as far as we can get along ridgeline in about 4 hours.

Expect a moderate hike with about[masked] feet elevation gain total and 5-7 miles of travel.

Bring good rain/wind layer, snack, water.

If you are game to meet me at Canyon RD (Rabbit Lake) trail at 10:40 let me know. We can leave 1 car and exit at Canyon Rd, will make hike more interesting.

Time just flew. Another relaxed foray into the mountains with great conversation and mixed weather. Thanks again for making this quick outing happen.

Thanks so much, Maureen, Rian and Doug, I feel so much better when I hike; more alive, more pain, but happy with our time out there!

the answer is Peak 3-we made it up Peak 3, turned back, came down the gully between Flattop and 2 and made it back in 4hr 5 min. Fun hike! Nice group!

I'm on my way but you all can leave without me. You know will be finding you I'm sure, and I'll be behind. It's 1033 and I'm in Eagle River

Juneau and I will try and make it on time, but have an apt in Eagle River until after 10. Should I come to Canyon Rd or Glen Alps? I'm a slow hiker at this point, let me know if that's a problem and I could just do an out and back.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
