Leave your hiking boots and poles at home.

This session is specially set-up for meetup hikers .

Learn to relax, stretch your ‘tired-from-hiking’ muscles, strengthen your core muscles are some of the good things we hope to achieve. May be not in one single session, more to follow if interested….

Location: Open Space, a center for community.

Fee: ‘donation base’. Based on the following philosophy :” In the spirit of community, karma, inclusiveness, and simplicity, we have chosen to put all of our drop-in classes ” on donation”. In this way, everyone can walk through the door and participate with some of the finest teachers in town! If you’re not sure what to give, we suggest $12-$20 though all donations are received with grace and gratitude. You may pay with check, cash or credit card. Join in and give what you can. The universe takes care of the rest!

There are mats available to use, or you are welcome to bring your own.

    Sorry, a little late too. I am hoping that I get myself and other people to incorporate yoga exercises into their daily routine. It's great to keep muscles flexible, joints going and prevent strains.
    Planning to organize more sessions from mid-August on (if there's interest!)

    A nice yoga session, then afterwards we had post-prandial noshing at Midnight Sun. No empty tables so we asked a couple on a date if we could join them (celebrating her birthday). We all made two new friends.

    This is not a hot yoga session. It's an intro focussing on (simple) exercises to improve well-being: stress relieve on shoulder and back muscles, balance and stretching of core and leg muscles.

    I have not hike with this group yet . I considered my self as a beginner to moderate hiker. I have been checking most of the hikes you go to and I feel they are too advance for me so I have been trying to improve my endurance. I just started yoga and really enjoyed it. If there is any spot here not taken by current hikers... maybe I can join you all for yoga?
