Let's take a scenic, easy-paced fall hike on the ridge and bluff trails of Kincaid Park. This event is a memorial to our departed friend Lamia Bouziane, who last hiked these trails with us on September 25, 2011 (see photo gallery).
The route depends on weather. I plan two segments so you can return after Part 1 if you want a shorter hike. Part 2 might include a hike on the beach. Plan to be out 2-4 hours, depending on whether or not you hike both segments.
These are foot trails with a few really steep sections, and total elevation gain about 500 feet. The bluff can be windy so be prepared! Bring suitable weather gear, cameras, water, snacks, etc.
Well-behaved dogs are OK. Bring poop bags, and leash for wildlife encounters.
