Ned, With all the snow we got in the past few days, it does not look good for skating in the near future. The last time I went was Sun., Dec. 17. It was melting and wet and windy but good ice. After that it melted more and then snowed. The only thing that will change it is a good melt and freeze or a good wind on the Flats. I will post when the ice. returns.

Ned I sure could be interested. I just left Doug&Mary's. Presently in Moab. Let's keep in this in mind..

My name is Kelsey Gray and I am working on the second edition of the rock climbing guide for AK. I found some information saying that you climbed a route with Charlie Sassara in 1985 at Reed Lakes. I was wondering if I found the right Ned Lewis! And if so if I could ask you some information about the climb.

Hey Ned, my friend and I bought your crampons and ice tools from you last year. Just want to say thanks. Everything is holding up great and we are both really getting into the sport. We also both are using your technique of clipping our tools to our harnesses when putting in screws. Thanks.
