AndoCon 2014

AndoCon 2014 will be held June 13th-15th at the Atlanta Marriott Perimeter Center. Please register here: http://www.andocon.org/register

Discounted rooms are available for your convenience: http://goo.gl/QJ4Lfo

AndoCon is an annual convention focused on gaming and the geeky life. We specialize in tabletop gaming of all sorts, be they board games (including Eurogames), card games (including Magic: The Gathering and Living Card Games such as Netrunner and Star Wars), role-playing games (tabletop RPGs as well as Live Action RPGs), or retro video games. Our staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and we would love to have you join our growing group.

PLEASE NOTE: RSVPing to this Meetup event does NOT register you for AndoCon 2014 attendance. You must register via andocon.org's Registration page!

Had fun. Wish I could've gotten into a Magic or D&D game, but the timing didn't work out. But I did get to play Shaintar a bit!

Fantastic revision to last year's convention. I loved the programming and truly wish I could have been in more than one place at a time. The vendors were awesome and the gaming and tournaments we tons of fun!

My only qualms? There were too many times when I was waiting about for a game, because everyone else was playing.

    Great time!

The Con itself was quite enjoyable and I wish I could have a couple of clones so I could be in multiple activities at once. My only concern would be the price - $5 less than Gameorama but for only 3 days, and not a full day on Friday, instead of 5. I wonder if that is why there are quite a number of gamers I did not see there.

If I only come once this weekend for 4 hours, would 3-7pm today be a good time to come? Or would it be less busy since it's during the business hours? I'm interested in Magic and role playing games (tabletop or live action.

What time does gaming end tonight, start and end tomorrow, and start Sunday? Sorry I feel like I'm asking a million questions, but I'm totally new to all of this.

There's open gaming in the main room at all times. There are also a lot of scheduled stuff, including panels and a few tournaments. But as far as open gaming, come anytime.

The NerdBurger podcast will be recording an episode live in front of an audience on Saturday from 1-3pm.

Guests will include Ando as well as anyone else who wants to get on the mic to talk about the convention and/or their geeky interests.

We'll also be raffling off a copy of the soon-to-be-in-print board game, Chaosmos, sometime during the podcast. Must be present to win. mirrorboxgames.com

When will a tournament schedule be available?

    June 7, 2014

    • Craig H.

I believe he will have a printed schedule at the convention.

      June 11, 2014

    • Ando P.

Craig is correct - the program will have the schedule of events/tournaments.

Is Sunday a good day to go?

    June 10, 2014

    • Ando P.

"Every" day is a good day to go! Silly question ;-)

Do you have a gaming schedule or something?

    May 22, 2014

    • Ando P.

The format is open gaming - there will be some RPGs that are scheduled, but otherwise it's pretty much play what you want when you want.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
