Some good presentations, some great. Lots of enthousiastic people, and some nice information from people with real experience on the platform.

Great introduction to the Android as a development platform.

It was a nice meetup, lot's of interesting people where there. Furthermore it was fabulously arranged!

The only minor downfall was the fact that the 'codehacking on the spot' did not really happen, my guess is this might have happened more easily if there was a room somewhere with big tables where people could hang out and code..

For me it was an eye opener for what is possible nowadays.

An enormous turnout. Very nice opportunity and well-organized. Many thanks to Maarten, T-Mobile and the others. Maybe next time we can get passed the introduction mode and actually do or code something useful. Any open source devs are welcome at FOSDEM in Brussels soon: http://groups.google.com/group/...

Good speakers real guys with real experiences. Got some valuable tips. Furthermore it was well organized!
    Some points for improvements:
    1) The first block of presentations was too long. although the presentations where cool I was thirsty like hell.
    2) I would like to have more time to talk some more with developers with Andriod experience
    3) More real development then powerpoint

Again thanks alot for organizing this event

    Cheers

ADC: Disappointing, despite a few highlights.

Christine Karman and Alexander Muse were really enjoyable. Christine was refreshingly honest about the platform, Alexander about the mobile application ecosystem. I'd like to applaud both presenters for the quality and professionalism of their presentations.

T-Mobile should have sent an engineer, not a sales exec - the same goes for Google. Both of them blithered about the mobile business instead of saying anything concrete about Android, and what it means to their businesses. (On a side note - am I the only one who remembers that T-Mobile tried to copyright a *colour* not too long ago?)

I so wanted to like the them, the camp and the device. The only thing I'm really excited about now, though, is that Android has finally driven a real, mainstream open handset to market - now if I can just find a decent OS for it...

It was great. Thanks guys, for organizing! Very inspiring!

The meetup was held between 16:00 and 23:00, which is quite late for people not living in Amsterdam. I had to travel for about 2 hours. Because of that I could not visit the workshops.
11:00-18:00 hours would have been better.

    But it was great anyway.

Next time, give the people something to take notes. That would be more usefull than a T-shirt.

It has given me a good view of the possibility's and 'future' of android. Also it has got me enthusiastic about developing for Android.
    An evening well spend.

Great initiative, good execution. Keynote had a good mix of tech and business. Technical presentations had interesting topics, but could have been a bit more in-depth. Nice friendly vibe, especially if you compare it to NLJUG events (which feature great topics, smart people, but more of a combined business/nerdy atmosphere). Looking forward to the next one!

Great speakers and an excellent keynote (Alexander Muse). Lots of interesting people at the even too. Regretfully, not actually a lot of devving from what I could tell, more seminar than dev camp. The opportunity to actually use the phone was great though.

Very nice first Android Dev Camp, especially the first part with the talks from application developers. The second part consisted of three different 'streams', one focussing on certain API's, one on REST and the last a more generic stream. These presentations / workshops took however much shorter than anticipated and I expected to get more hands-on experience and knowledge from them.
The organisation was very good, so a thank you for them. Everything was sponsored by T-Mobile which made this a free event.

Great to have WIFI network, although it seemed to be slow at times.
I like technical sessions and like to see more of that.

I had expected more technical details about the android platform. But apart from that, it was a great oppertunity to meet and share with peers.

The first half was very useful, good speakers and nice information with examples. After the break I experienced very technical stuff and as I don't know much about java, I couldn't follow much. As my companion felt the same, we left around 20:00. But the main attraction that we were able to play with a G1 for a while.
I want to thank the organisation for this great event.

The guy of one of the streams (in the biggest room on 2e floor) was BORING AS HELL!!! What a DORK. Left the room. Pitty because I missed the oppertunity to learn something

Interesting speakers, demos, and discussions. Well-organized. The hackatons could have benefited from some hands-on developing, but overall: Very inspiring!

Brilliant way to get up to speed on the technical aspects of Android. Really gave me that good old pioneer feel, too. Respect to the organizers for a job well done in a very short period of time. We want more!

The speaker from Google did not have a particularly gripping speech. When asked to comment on commercial Android aspects, he was hushed by a suit sitting behind him. Hmm.

The best practices were good, particularly the well laid out business case for ShopSavvy.
