An enormous turnout. Very nice opportunity and well-organized. Many thanks to Maarten, T-Mobile and the others. Maybe next time we can get passed the introduction mode and actually do or code something useful. Any open source devs are welcome at FOSDEM in Brussels soon: http://groups.google.com/group/android-discuss/browse_thr....

I liked the meeting. I have an idea but I am not sure if I can make the deadline for the NL challenge. Anybody interested to join who doesn't have a thought of an application but wants to be part of the buzzzzzzz ? I have some coders who can help but are all starters on Android. Rotterdam base location but anywhere in Holland is fine, we still have phones...

Great introduction to the Android as a development platform.
  • Franz-Robert van Vugt
It was a nice meetup, lot's of interesting people where there. Furthermore it was fabulously arranged! The only minor downfall was the fact that the 'codehacking on the spot' did not really happen, my guess is this might have happened more easily if there was a room somewhere with big tables where people could hang out and code..

For me it was an eye opener for what is possible nowadays.

Nice event. Good organization. Enthusiastic speakers with very motivating presentations.
  • Jurgen van der Vlist
It was great. Thanks guys, for organizing! Very inspiring! The meetup was held between 16:00 and 23:00, which is quite late for people not living in Amsterdam. I had to travel for about 2 hours. Because of that I could not visit the workshops. 11:00-18:00 hours would have been better. But it was great anyway.
  • Arjan Spigt
cool stuff this Android, let's see how it develops once it hits the markt in NL.
  • Andy Kalbvleesch
Very intersting. Had to leave early wich was too bad.
  • Martijn Thieme
Great initiative, good execution. Keynote had a good mix of tech and business. Technical presentations had interesting topics, but could have been a bit more in-depth. Nice friendly vibe, especially if you compare it to NLJUG events (which feature great topics, smart people, but more of a combined business/nerdy atmosphere). Looking forward to the next one!

Very nice first Android Dev Camp, especially the first part with the talks from application developers. The second part consisted of three different 'streams', one focussing on certain API's, one on REST and the last a more generic stream. These presentations / workshops took however much shorter than anticipated and I expected to get more hands-on experience and knowledge from them. The organisation was very good, so a thank you for them. Everything was sponsored by T-Mobile which made this a free event.
  • Marco van der Lingen
great meeting. Maybe next time more development time to actualy build some apps.
  • Ivar Pruijn
Interesting speakers, demos, and discussions. Well-organized. The hackatons could have benefited from some hands-on developing, but overall: Very inspiring!
  • Paulus Veltman
Brilliant way to get up to speed on the technical aspects of Android. Really gave me that good old pioneer feel, too. Respect to the organizers for a job well done in a very short period of time. We want more!
  • Tim van de Rijdt
    Energizing, inspiring, geek chic
  • John Ophof
It was a great opportunity to meet other developers and see the vision of some companies.
  • Zefanja
Good speakers real guys with real experiences. Got some valuable tips. Furthermore it was well organized! Some points for improvements: 1) The first block of presentations was too long. although the presentations where cool I was thirsty like hell. 2) I would like to have more time to talk some more with developers with Andriod experience 3) More real development then powerpoint Again thanks alot for organizing this event Cheers
  • Robert Bakker
nice talk - although a developer from the android team would have even better.
  • Pieter Van der Cruys
Next time, give the people something to take notes. That would be more usefull than a T-shirt.
  • Ron van den Berg
It has given me a good view of the possibility's and 'future' of android. Also it has got me enthusiastic about developing for Android. An evening well spend.
  • Bojan Sobocan
    Very well organised! Chapeau!!!
  • Hylke Stapersma
The first part of the meeting was great, I expected more from the fundementals meeting.
  • Koert Zeilstra
Great to have WIFI network, although it seemed to be slow at times. I like technical sessions and like to see more of that.
  • Berik Visschers
I had expected more technical details about the android platform. But apart from that, it was a great oppertunity to meet and share with peers.
  • Joshua
Mixed group. The streams part of the evening was for the real developers.
  • bonor11
The guy of one of the streams (in the biggest room on 2e floor) was BORING AS HELL!!! What a DORK. Left the room. Pitty because I missed the oppertunity to learn something
  • Bart Jaspers
    nice bunch of people.
