ABOUT THE PLAYGROUPS

The most important training you can give your puppy is early socialization with other dogs, humans and environments. This will help create a well rounded and sound adult dog. Socialization should not stop after your dog becomes an adult. They can easily regress if training and socializing is not continued during their lifetime.

I am a dog trainer with over 20 years of experience. I will be there to over see their behaviors, answer questions and discuss how your behavior can make or break the relationship with your dog. In the small puppy groups you will learn specific training exercises to practice with your puppy.

AGGRESSIVE DOGS NOT ALLOWED
You will need to bring records of all shots. They must have age appropriate vaccines. 6 months and older must be spayed or neutered. I suggest some kind of flea/tick preventative. Towel (a Kiddie pool during hot weather and possible mud). If they don't get dirty, their not having a good time!
WHAT ABOUT HUMAN KIDS? Puppies should meet and interact with children of all ages, BUT it should be a positive experience. This is a play group for your puppy. If I feel that at any time a child is to boisterous to puppies or other children you will be asked to leave. I also don't want any children to get hurt from over active puppies who like to jump and nip. This is all normal puppy behavior but things can get out of control if puppies are over stimulated.


Owner must be with the dog. Owner responsible for total liability and will have to sign a release of liability contract.

Puppy Play and Train


6/one hour visit package: 60.00 paid in advance (no refunds-makeups only if I cancel group)
Groups are held outside so weather will be indicator if group is canceled or not.

Puppies 8-12 weeks: housebreaking, nipping, jumping, attention, follow the leader, recall, playtime
Puppies 4-6mo: housebreaking, nipping,jumping,attention, follow the leader, recall ,playtime


Depending on puppy size and temperament visits in both groups may be possible. Depending on progression of puppy it may cross over into older group. Bring high value treats (cheese, chicken) for training.

Regular Play groups

These are off leash playgroups
A large area for dogs to run and play, agility and play equipment, practice your training with high distractions



Any dog that has NOT previously played with other dogs will have to be tested before joining a group
