Malcolm : Here is a simple example.
If the field has never been touched, it will be green.
If it has been touched and is not valid, it will be red.
If it is valid, it will have no background color.

I thought it waa great as well. Definitely going to rework the way I am doing form validation. Anyone know if you change the styles on the select if its prestine?
