Developing mobiles app with AngularJS and the Ionic Framework

NOTE: This month we will be in a new location

This month Justin will be presenting on Developing mobiles app with AngularJS and the Ionic Framework

Ionic is an AngularJS based front-end framework for developing hybrid mobile apps.  It consists of a wide selection of user interface elements such as Action Sheets, Side Menus, Modals, Lists, Forms, Cards, and Icons all designed as directives for use in Angular apps.  Ionic has a command line install via NPM and integrates well in PhoneGap/Cordova based apps.

The talk will consist of showing the selection of Ionic elements, covering installing a starter app, and demonstrating fleshing out a more in-depth sample app.

About Justin:

Justin a former enterprise application developer in telecommunications.  My technology of choice for developing network automation and BI tools was the LAMP stack.  In April 2013, I left my professional career to take care of my family while my wife battled with a major medical issue.  During my time off, I dabbled with Node.js, MongoDB, Backbone, and Angular.  I began developing Kids In Touch - a messaging app for children.  Kids In Touch use PhoneGap, AngularJS, and Hapi.js for the backend.  Kids in Touch will be released in Spring 2014.

NOTE: This is a different location than usual.

I would LOVE to be at this one, but friends from out of town arrive that day and I'm afraid they are not of the geek persuasion. Video?
