Will Jones will be presenting how to build Angular applications capable of exploring and traversing hypermedia APIs without prior knowledge of how the API evolves.

Slides should now be available at http://lunaris.github.io/js-angular-london-20140514 but are quite thin on content (a lot/perhaps too much of which was delivered verbally).
Apologies to those who wanted more Angular and thanks to all those I chatted to afterwards for the great feedback.

Neat!Quick tip if you have time to try it out is to use WireCast to push stream out to YouTube

It seems the stream isn't actually happening: "We're experiencing technical difficulties"

Same here ..
only got 9.21mins?
are we going to be able to watch the full thing at some point?
Hi Lewis, unfortunately not, the recording cut out after about 10 minutes.
Since the recording wasn't (fully) successful, could we have the slides?
yep, that would be cool
Great insights, great design pattern

Awesome talk, thanks Will.
Interesting but would have preferred something more directly related to AngularJS.
Looking forward to the recording... Thanks
Had problems viewing the live stream. Will the recordings be available online at some point?

We're going to try and do a live stream which will be available after the event. I can't make any promises on the quality for our first pass.
1 · May 13, 2014
Any URL please?
if you ever host these meeting at skills matter, they record every session they hold (just a tip :) )
The URL is just below - but I'll pop it in here as well. https://plus.google.co...
This hosts the live stream and will also give you access to the video after the event.
want to watch video, but it wont play it from that link, any ideas?
It's available from 7pm.
My spot has become available as I'm late on a handover and will have to work on this evening.
Sorry, I won't be able to attend today. I will now update my RSVP to 'No'.
Please if you are unable to come Un-rsvp.. There is a huge waiting list (also applies if you are on waiting list and cant come).
Usually some people RSVP but dont come nor unRSVP.. so just a gentle reminder :)

Angular app on top of a hypermedia api is exactly what I am doing at the moment...Would love to see how you guys do it

Good point. That's my wedding anniversary. RSVP changed :)
1 · May 8, 2014
I sadly will not be able to make it, I'm going to unRSVP in exactly 15 mins from now (just to make it slightly more even)

You need to arrange for a bigger vanue to accommodate more members, otherwise no point having these many people in the group or arrange for a second session
0 · April 14, 2014
Yes, when the two user groups merged, I was afraid it would become too difficult to attend.
0 · April 15, 2014
We've doubled the amount of meet ups we're having, and focussing the event on more specific ability ranges. All in all this should make it easier to attend.

I don't think that any veterans will skip the beginner talks or vice versa. I also don't think that having more events will mean people start coming selectively. So I am a little sceptical about this, but what can you do... it's London.

Would be cool to do two Angular talks at different venues on the same day at different skill levels to divide up the crowd so everyone can go. (maybe a third one for just the recruiters and people that shouldn't be hogging space)

200 going already! I thought I just got the email!
That's why I usually don't make it, before I read an email all places are taken, 5 minutes from opening I was 6* to RSVP
I replied three hours after getting the email and was placed on the waiting list. Just shows how popular AngularJS is
