Yeoman: Faster, Easier Bootstrapping for AngularJS Projects

Yeoman is a set of tools, libraries, and a workflow that can help developers simplify the setup process for application development. Brian Ford has been heavily involved in creating the AngularJS template generators for Yeoman. He'll be joining us in Mountain View, CA to talk about how Yeoman works with AngularJS, and demonstrate how you can get started using Yeoman to quickly create new controllers, directives, services, unit tests, and even entire applications in AngularJS.

Plus, guest speaker Vlad Yazhbin will present "From Prototype to Production with AngularJS", on how to approach creating a new application. He'll share tips and tricks he learned as the creator of Bingo Card Club, which includes a multi-page dashboard complete with modal dialogs, custom controls, and a three-step shopping cart.

Agenda:

6:00pm - Door opens, Food, Drinks and Socializing

6:15pm - Quick Intro to AngularJS for Newcomers (TBC)

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
