Let's start the Seattle AngularJS meetups again! Tuesday, November 5th, at Google's Fremont office.

The night will start with an introduction to AngularJS for those who are just beginning to explore. Then, Jack Morgan of hasOffers will speak about using $provide.delegate to override functionality in Angular.

Brad Green, AngularJS's manager, will be joining us for a Q&A after.

Light refreshments will be available.

Just published the same app as a desktop app ( https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/flex-note/acndffknklaklnnpjmdbfknnohmikcje). Chrome Store is phasing out support for extension and legacy app. With angularjs, adding ng-csp should fix all the csp complaints unless some of the directives you use are not csp-conform.

My latest Flex Note chrome app is now available. You can download it from the chrome store or my github account (https://github.com/yguan/notepad). The gridster directive (angular-gridster.js) is very polished now and you should be able to use it easily.

Awesome meetup! I've been using a learning resource called thinkster.io that's been pretty good! I would recommend checking it out if you are new to angular.

Really great meetup good food too... I've been using angular for a couple of months - Best thing since dual core processors.
Really great to hear about what's coming and pick up a few new things to try in Angular.

Ah bummer, won't be able to attend in the end tonight :(
Hopefully can make the next one. Just a note - at Trov we are always looking for passionate and talented engineers with solid Angular skills: http://www.trov.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/Senior-AngularJS-Developer.pdf
We have a very distributed team so we offer remote work possibility.

Ping me if you are interested!

I just created a Windows 8 style dashboard with gridster, angular-carousel, and bootstrap. It works on some touch devices as well. You can play with the demo and get code from the github repository (https://github.com/yguan/dashboard). I also organized the grunt config based on Thomas Boyt's approach (http://www.thomasboyt.com/2013/09/01/maintainable-grunt.html), and it seems to be more maintainable in compare to a single Gruntfile with everything.

    Hi everyone,

A quick reminder that this is coming up next week! We have reached our room's limit of 90, so if folks who won't be able to make it could cancel so that someone from the wait list can get in, that would be much appreciated.

Looking forward to this starting back up again. It would be great to have an open Q&A but is there a way to do this, not sure if this is a good idea or not, so that we can actually pull out our laptops and write code? Or just find out how AngularJS is being applied across the group?

+1. Love this idea. Let me know if you want help organizing one (or want someone to drive it).

+1 on Hackathon, always find interesting dev to work with and the pressure make you think out of the box

I've been using AngularJS for Vulcan Inc. project -> www.fayve.com
Had been learning lot's of directive and keeping up with updated version of Angular ( I started by using version 1.0.x and been updating it to 1.2 to use angular animation feature ). Looking forward to see Brad Green IRL :)

    Hey everyone,

We've reached the 60 person limit, but I believe we can up the capacity. Please join the waiting list if you'd like to go, and I'll have an update shortly.

    October 15, 2013

    • Julie R.

Yes, the room can hold 90, so I've upped the limit!

    Hello everyone,

I just got my portfolio site (http://yguan.github.io) up and running after 2 days of researching and coding. The code is in https://github.com/yguan/portfolio-site, you can easily tweak the css to make something unique for yourself. Wouldn't that be nice if you can have your own?

By the way, you can use github pages for your site, just create a repository with the name [username].github.io and your site will be ready to go.

Thanks for starting this group back up! I've been hoping to meet with other that are using Angular in the area. I haven't ran into anyone at the other Seattle meetups that use it so I'm really looking forward to this!
