"Offline web sites with PouchDB" Presented by Jeff Wilde

Audience – Intermediate

About Jeff Jeff is currently development manager for enterprise applications at Vivint Solar

"Harnessing the Power of ng-model and ng-form" Presented by Jeremy Lund

ng-model and ng-form are underappreciated and underutilized directives in Angular. In this talk, I will show how one can leverage both the directives and their controllers to make better, more maintainable forms.

Audience – Intermediate

About Jeremy – Jeremy is a Principal Front-End Engineer at AtTask, and has been monkeying with code since age 10 (which apparently was a long time ago)

I liked the first presentation, but the second presentation was more applicable to my current work. However, I was unable to see both because I only allocated until 7pm and had other commitments.

Perhaps, some incentive to keep on schedule may be helpful.

Thanks for the feedback! I agree that this is an area where we can improve.

You're welcome. I hope it helps. If I were to present, I sure wouldn't want to go second the way things stand.

Thank you for the positive feedback on my presentation last night. I hope that you gained some information that you can use today on your AngularJS projects (both work and personal).
As I mentioned last night, all of the examples I showed were from my Codepen account (http://codepen.io/lund0n/). I also created a Codepen collection that shows that 10 examples that I went through last night if you prefer not to sift through my Codepens: http://codepen.io/collection/neqPxn/

I you have specific questions or feedback, please feel free to message me.

The venue is great with lots of room for growth.

Besides that, I can attend without taking 5 min to get through the many intersections between the East and West side of I-15!

    Thanks Adobe and AtTask!

This is the element resize event listener I am packaging together with what is now called nz-overscale. Coming soon to a repo near you!

AngularJS was great! Loved the second topic about ng-model perfect examples of real world situations and was exactly the things I was looking to learn.

I am torn. This meetup is at the same time as the meetup at Adobe with the creator of Cordova/Phonegap. WHICH! EVENT! TO! GO! TO!?

    • Matt Z.

Which part is unfair? Adobe hosting so much awesome in one night, or that you can't be in two places at the same time?

      1 · December 8, 2014

    • Aaron F.

Both bro. Adobe has got it going on. No denying that!!!!

      December 8, 2014

  • Todd H.

Ditto, Aaron. But Adobe has one of the creators of phonegap at the Google developers meet up, so I will be over there.
