They have called for a Type 1 incident team, 15 Hotshort Crews and evacuated 100 homes up to Junapine Resort.  In addition there are three other wild fires occuring at this time.

Slide Rock fire north on Sedona on 89A.

If you are interested in helping with a Donation Drive for pet items, pet food or cashat this time,  please contact us at[masked] and friend MRC-Animal Emergency Response Arizona State, Empty Bowl Pet Food to keep on top of our activity!

Regular updates on the fire are available at http://inciweb.nwcg.gov/incident/article/3874/21920/

Yavapai County with Coconino and Mohave Counties are the best organized for local response but we are prepared to lend relief support and donations as they ask for them.

We need more contacts that are willing to do donation drives at this time and if you are available to load the transport, should it be need please post your availability.

Also if you are willing to go up as relief, and you have taken FEMA's IS 100 and 700 for workers, IS 200 and 800 for leadership roles also let us know by posting on the discussion board at our Meetup.
