I am glad that you signed up for the May 5 MeetUp. Did you want me to help link you with a carpool partner for that date? I think Jean typically comes later on Saturdays because her team paddles at 9:30a.m. rather than 8a.m.

Hi Kelly,

Unfortunately, no paddlers from my team drive from West Seattle. However, there is a paddler from another team that drives from West Seattle. If you let me know your email address and I can attempt to connect the two of you. Her team paddlers on Saturdays at 8a.m., same as mine -- and then on Monday and Thursday evenings. I think she drives directly from her work in downtown for the evening practices.

Hi Kelly - welcome to the group! There are a few beginners here already, so I might try to get some together to try out some games and maybe teach a few things on technique, although I'm still trying to master a lot. Until then, you could suggest something on the calendar or ping a few people to try out a few games.

Hi Kelly, I just see you changed your status, I understand. I see the interest is there but the commute is a problem. I don't know to much about West Seattle, except Alkai :). Hmm, I'm thinking perhaps you can suggest a area closer to you for a run. The beach sounds good. I'm sure there are other areas. Though, my goal was to keep in south end, but perhaps planning a run in your area, would be nice. Perhaps on Saturday we can discuss the possibility. Take Care :)
