I am totally sad and with a great delusion about Japan these days....I cant imagine such a message coming from the Administrators....what example they expect to teach to their kids? What kind of community would allow that? If something can be done, is basic education on animal care and welfare....why is so difficult to the community open their senses to that? sorry...lots of questions without answer today
I e-mail the Prime Minister, in addition to Mie Prefecture....hoping to make some difference http://nodasblog.kant... |

Peta suggests via Apollonia to also contact the following:
His Excellency Naoto Kan Prime Minister of Japan https://www.kantei.go... +81-(0)3-3581-0101 +81-(0)3-3595-0090 (fax) The Honorable Michihiko Kano Minister of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries m-kano@ma.catvy.ne.jp +81-(0)3-3508-7205 +81-(0)3-3508-3205 (fax) The Honorable Ryu Matsumoto Minister of Environment and Minister of State for Disaster Management post@open-ryu.net +81-(0)3-3508-7616 +81-(0)3-3593-7266 (fax) Not including the rest of Peta's comments since Peta actually supports the trapping and killing of feral cats (and seems to have missed that they are also trapping and killing people's outdoor pet cats, and that "euthanasia" is probably done by gassing). These contacts seem much further removed from the situation, but the bigger fuss raised the better, right? |
