Hello there! This is Adam from Grapevine, Tx. I am a 20 year old abolitionist vegan, and have been so for about a year now, and the prospect of meeting people with similar views is the light at the end of the tunnel that I have been searching for.
The exploitation of animals is at such a grand and systematic scale. It is my ambition to attack the root cause of this institution of slavery through non-violent vegan education. I could certainly use some help though... :)
Absolutely. Rescuing animals in times of crisis is something I've always wanted to be capable of doing.
It seems that all of you have come up with great ideas for events. I'll let you know if I think of anything else.
Everyone is so clearly passionate about animal issues and this gives me great confidence in our future. Just you wait, soon we'll be changing the very fabric of Texan culture! Ahh... I can be such a dreamer ;). Who knows what is possible though with a group of dedicated activists? Peace to you all...

Wow nice point of view. I think it's very true, when we know more about our world and how things function. We can really start to understand each other and make real changes that matter. Hope to learn from you as well.
Welcome to the monthly Vegan Potluck Adam! I hope you are able to join us and I'm glad your friend was aware of our existence!
Hi Adam, and welcome!
I have family in Grapevine, so I know it isn't easy for vegans up that way. My (non-vegan) Mom came down to Arlington today and we had lunch at Loving Hut. She loved it! You will, too, if you haven't been.
Looking forward to meeting a fellow abolitionist vegan!
