International Rally! Fight for Survival of Horses and Burros, DENVER, CO

Last year was the first annual International Rally Fight for Survival of Horses & Burros, the brainchild of Fighting for America's Horses & Burros.

Almost every state in the U.S. held at least one rally, and many were held worldwide. There was a lot of media coverage last year - we hope to have even more this year. This year's event is planned for Saturday, April 26th from 10:00am to 1:00pm.

Please join the Denver Rally and help make 2014, the Year of the Horse, a real triumph! Thanks so much!

I have just learned of this wonderful event, sadly I will be unable to attend, after having leg surgery on that Wednesday, but it so very important that as many people attend as possible. The need to help these animals never stops, since the USA government doesn't seem willing to take care of them as they should, being it is their responsibly as per the Free Roaming Wild Horse and Burro Act of 1972. The subject of horses for food slaughter will come up every year as long as the US Federal Budget gets revised. The SAFE act needs to be put in place. That will protect horses a lot. Hope you all can come out and save our wild horses and burros. It is up to each and every one of us to stand up for them because they cannot speak for themselves. Thanks!
