Fur Free Friday

Join us for our peaceful Fur Free Friday Demonstration!

Leaflets and posters are provided, but feel free to make your own, kid friendly, easy to read, to the point posters.

Where we will be and what will we be doing (if you can't get there on time, feel free to catch up with us when you get there):

PART 1 - We will start at 11:30 AM in front of Neiman Marcus 3030 East 1st Avenue in front of Cherry Creek.

Part 2 - At about 12:30 we will leave Neiman's and walk to Hamilton's Furs on 3rd and Columbine. We'll spend about half an hour there.

Part 3 - Finally, we will walk on to Mark Lloyd's Furs, 263 Josephine (between 2nd and 3rd) for an hour.

What to Bring:
Bring your own water (don't forget the doggies water, too), sun screen, an umbrella and a jacket. Dress in layers in case it warms up.

    I think this is one of the most important things we do since so few people realize the cruelty and devastation "harvesting" of fur causes. Even when the demand for full length fur coats diminishes, fur suppliers still make sure their "products" end up everywhere as trim or as accessories. What appears as faux many times isn't at all. We reach tons of people by holding this demonstration on the busiest shopping day of the year.
