No Kill Colorado Monthly Meetup

The No Kill Colorado Coalition Board of Directors is pleased to announce our February program. The No Kill portion will focus on No Kill success stories. If you aren't familiar with the national No Kill movement, we recommend reading Redemption by Nathan Winograd.
Our guests will be Dr. Piccoli of Spay Today who will be talking about their program, # 2 of the No Kill Equation, and either Sherri Leggett or Erica Rambus of Feline Fix, talking about TNR or Trap-Neuter-Release of feral cats, #1 of the No Kill Equation.
Everyone interested in learning about the No Kill movement is welcome. Feel free to invite friends and colleagues. RSVP preferred.

Thanks for coming out on Valentine's Day and in the snow! Thanks to our presenters Sherri Legget of Feline Fix and Dr. Piccoli of Spay Today. We have over 600 signatures for this petition but the Governor will need to hear from more Coloradoans. Please sign and share!

This is the first petition of No Kill Colorado, a coalition advocating for open admission shelters which save a minimum of 90 out of every 100 animals. Our board of directors is composed of animal advocates who have grown tired of waiting for the shelter killing to stop and tired of hearing tired excuses.

Each day is important because animals in Colorado shelters are killed each day. We intend for Just One Day to be only the beginning in Colorado. We plan to convince Denver to adopt and implement the No Kill Equation this year with the remainder of Colorado to follow.

Hi Ann! I`ll be seeing you & everyone on Mar. 21, at the Colfax & Wadsworth Walmart. By the way, in case anyone is concerned about parking, there is a mostly empty bldg. near Walmart, on the southeast corner of Wads. & 17th Ave. The south end of the bldg. has a blue colored, pointed metallic structure on it, like the bow of a ship. You can enter its parking lot directly from n.bound Wads., or 17th Ave., immediately ea. of Wads. Just don`t park near the north end of bldg., because there`s a dental clinic there. It should be perfectly fine to use the rest of the lot-I parked there when I used to shop at Walmart. (There`s also a Home Depot lot on the so. side of Colfax.)

Hi Tom, I'm so glad you'll be there! Would you mind copying this parking information onto the Walmart event so the others will know about it, please? Thank you!!

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
