Introduction
Hi, my name is Maureen. I would like to be more active in promoting animal rights, but I'm not really aware of where & when these various activities take place.
What would you like to see from this meetup group?
Protests of leather & fur companies, as well as maybe some protests of fastfood restaurants & restaurants that serve "exotic" animals. Leafletting of vegan pamphlets.
What, to you, is the biggest issue concerning animals?
The methods used in Factory farming; Animal testing in laboratories
Are there any demonstrations or activities you would like to see this group host?
I can't think of any suggestions at this time, as I am not sure what this group is already doing.
NOTE: You don't have to RSVP "NO" to gatherings you don't plan to attend, UNLESS you are changing your RSVP from "YES" TO "NO". "NO" RSVPs only create more email for organizers. We only require a "YES" if you plan to attend gatherings. Make sense?
