Announcing a new Meetup for Animal Activists of Central Florida!

What: Help us speak for chickens! They need your voice. (ARFF event)

When: Sunday, August 8,[masked]:00 PM

Where: McDonald's
900 W State Road 434
Longwood, FL 32750

McCruelty: I'm Hatin It!

In the U.S., chickens killed by McDonald's suppliers are slaughtered using an outdated method that results in extreme suffering. *As the biggest seller of chicken meat in the U.S., McDonald's has the responsibility?and the ability?to reduce this abuse by demanding that its U.S. suppliers use a less cruel method of slaughter.

There is a less cruel method of chicken slaughter available to McDonald's suppliers called controlled-atmosphere killing, or CAK, and it would cost the corporation nothing to demand that its suppliers use it. CAK would eliminate the worst abuses currently suffered by chickens killed for McDonald's. In fact, a 2005 study about CAK produced by McDonald's concluded that it is far better for animals than the current method of slaughter.

Please Help ARFF speak for the chickens and educate the public at our peaceful 1st Saturday of the month McMurder protest.

When: Sunday August 8 at 6:00 PM
Location: 900 West SR 434 in Longwood

Please write to McDonalds and ask them to change their ways:
