Announcing a new Meetup for Animal Activists of Central Florida!

What: 4th annual Orlando Walk for Farm Animals

When: Saturday, October 2,[masked]:00 AM

Where: Ethos Vegan Kitchen
1235 N Orange Ave, #101 (Lake Ivanhoe Area)
Orlando, FL 32804

On Saturday October 2, in recognition of World Farm Animals Day/World Vegetarian Week, let's join the 2010 Walk for Farm Animals and help raise funds for and awareness about Farm Sanctuary?s vital rescue, education and advocacy efforts for farm animals in need.

To register for the event or make a pledge of support, contact the local Walk coordinator below. A $15 pre-registration fee entitles you to a Walk T-shirt, if available. (We missed the 3 week cut-off to guarantee a shirt) Walk day registration costs $20.

IMPORTANT! Please note, that by RSVPing through Meet Ups you will NOT be registered for the walk. You MUST email [address removed] or go to and that information will be sent to us for Saturday's walk. By RSVPing through meet ups, you will pay $20 the day of the walk vs $15 in advance by contacting the previous links.

Registration on the outdoor patio of Ethos Vegan Kitchen: 10 AM
Walk around Lake Ivanhoe: 11 AM
Group lunch at Ethos after the walk
Also, afterwards many of us are planning to drive over to Tampa for their Veg Fest. We will post a Meetup for that too.

Please note: Animals are not allowed on Ethos patio. The walk is a mile and it is still very warm in October. Please consider the stress on your animal from the heat, lots of people and different smells, and traffic, before considering bringing him or her to walk.
